Our youth group is taught by dedicated Christian role models who genuinely care about our teens as well as proactively teach them Bible principles for life. The youth group meets two times a week, Teen Bible Study on Sundays at 9:30AM and then for Youth Group on Wednesday nights at 7:00PM. At Youth Group, the teens have a brief activity at the church, spend some time in prayer, and study a section from the book of 1 John. Our teens meet for monthly activities which include cook-outs, ice skating, and summer camp. This summer the youth group is going to Grand View Camp in Eager, Arizona. This is a wholesome ministry for young people who want to learn more about God and build godly friendships.
Our children’s ministries offer a caring and God-focused opportunity for children to learn more about Jesus Christ. The Children’s Sunday School Classes meet at 9:30AM Sunday mornings to teach children how to know God and to please Him with their lives. We have a strong team of dedicated Christian workers with spacious facilities. The Children’s Church meets during the Morning Worship Service to provide children with Bible lessons to help them grow at their level. Children learn Bible verses and songs so that they can participate in our church services periodically. Currently, they are studying God’s character and how it relates to them personally. On Wednesday nights, our kids learn a Bible lesson and make a craft. On a monthly basis, they visit the Garden Villa to encourage and to sing to the residents.
Because part of our facility is used for a daycare, we are adequately prepared to care for your toddlers and infants. We have nursery provided for all three weekly services and for Adult Bible Study. Our staff provides a caring and clean environment for your children to be cared for during the services. We use a pager system to stay in contact with parents during the service, if they need to be contacted for any reason.
Our college ministry which began Easter Sunday, 2012, offers an opportunity for all students in Bloomington to be encouraged in their Christian life. The class is currently studying the character of God on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM during the Adult Bible Study. Several of our church members teach English as a second language at IU, so we have found opportunities to welcome international students to attend our college ministry. Our college ministry is led by a dedicated family who served as missionaries to China and Mongolia.
