MISSIONS

March 13, 2016
We were blessed by a visit from furloughing missionaries, Eric and Katie Graham, who serve as church planters in South Africa. It was a blessing to watch their missionary video presentation. They expect to return to Cape Town, South Africa in May. They have 4 children -- Abigail, Hannah, Lydia, and Benjamin.
Matthew Patenaude, Serving with Worldview Ministries
May 15, 2016
It was a great joy to have Matthew Patenaude present his ministry of facilitating Bible translation projects to unreached people groups through WorldView Ministries. It is stirring to recognize how many people groups still do not have God's Word in their mother-language. Even with modern advances, one in twelve people do not have God's Word in their own primary language. Although the need is great, we have the privilege to help make a difference in our generation. Matthew and Carrie are active members in our own church ministry along with their children Ransom, Jacob and Melody.

May 5, 2019
Missions Emphasis Month began with a visit from missionary, Michael Germi. Michael converted from Islam to Christianity. Because of that, it would not be safe for him to return to his homeland of Iran. Instead, the Lord has led him to prepare Gospel messages here in the U.S., which are aired over satellite TV and radio into Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Many Muslims have responded by turning to the Lord in faith. Michael was pleased to announce that he will be getting married in August.
